The Pétanque group meets every 2nd Thursday and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2.00 pm at The Foresters Arms, Newthorpe. Contact is Colin Fletcher, tel no – 07813 785 528
Members to bring their own boules if they have them but there are some available to use. People could try charity shops to buy them.
Group members can go to play as individuals at other free times as members of The Foresters’ Pétanque group.

Four members of the group (Janet, Denise, Pam and Sue) took advantage of the fine weather to play a socially distanced game of petanque at the Forrester’s last week.
After a fairly rusty start, the old skills started to resurface.
